Wild West Party Tee Pee

Well after some adjusting to make it fit the poles...here it is (haven't ironed it yet)!

Not quite as big as I hoped, but it isn't too bad I guess for a rustic wild west boyish tent.

I used left over fabrics, scrap (from old clothes), ribbon for seams and bamboo poles. Rubber feet stop it slipping and rings sewn on the inside of fabric to keep the poles in place.

More pics when it is party time.

  1. WOW! This looks SO good! I have no idea how you managed to make this without a pattern. Love all the embellishments too. I saw one at bed, bath 'n table the other day for $300... But yours looks better and is no-slip. Fantastic!

  2. Thankyou, you are too nice really I am sure the one at Bed Bath is much more professional. I should have used a pattern! It took me far too long and many adjustments, but I did enjoy making it (time out at the sewing machine mid holidays is always a good thing I guess!) Tents are fun for all ages aren't they.
