Ancient Rome and Easter

Because of the obvious connection with this time of the year I decided to take a quick look at Ancient Rome this week.

So far we have looked at...
how people lived during these times,
how the Empire grew,
famous people,
architecture and
some of the legacies left by the Romans.
Some of the books we are using.
As part of our look at Ancient Rome I have reviewed Roman Numerals and introduced Latin.
For Art we are learning different styles of calligraphy with ink pens.

So far we have decided to write down things that we found interesting.
H thinks it is funny that people would go to baths and take their clothes off in public!

We made a Lego Aqueduct and statue for our Roman square.
